Wooden medallion depicting the Amida Triad (Amida Sanson Zo) with the Amitabha Buddha (Amida Nyorai) and two attendants (Bosatsu). The Buddha is sitting on a blossoming lotus base in front of a swirling leaf backdrop (Kouhai), his hands gesturing the upper grade, lower birth mudra indicating rebirth in the upper realm of the Western Paradise. On either side of the Buddha are his two attendants Seishi and Kannon seated on clouds.
