Indian Miniature Bronze of a Nandi


Nandi is the bull which the God Shiva rides and the gate keeper of Shiva and Parvati in Hindu mythology. The seated animal is placed on a square base and has been decorated with ornamental chains and bells. Over the years the bronze developed a nice patina. Damage to the right horn.
