the Bodhisattva is depicted as a young Indian prince standing in a slightly twisted pose adorned with beads and an elaborate coiffure. His garb exposes his chest and arms and the subtle shifts in posture is indicative of Indo-Himalayan sculptural traditions in China of that time.
