Chinese Louhan-Ming Dynasty PRICE UPON REQUEST

A Louhan or Arhat is a Buddhist Enlightened one who chooses to remain out of final Nirvana to aid living faithful. The disciple has a benign expression with a kind look in his eyes. At the center of his forehead he has the raised Urna symbolizing the third eye. The well proportioned head shows remnants of lacquer and is mounted on a contemporary metal stand.
